Job: Full-home remodel and large addition

This home in Gainesville, Florida, underwent a transformation with 18,000 sqft added for an expansive living space. The home features breathtaking ceiling details, custom marble bathrooms with luxurious freestanding baths, and bespoke furniture — all coming together to create an upscale Mediterranean resort feel.

CHALLENGES

  1. With such vast spaces, we needed to create a sense of intimacy in each room.
  2. The pre-existing structure presented challenges to how the home could be laid out.

SOLUTIONS

  1. We selected warmer tones with clean lines and created circular conversation settings to create intimacy within each area.
  2. We added ceiling features, stone applications, and wainscotting to draw your eye away from some of the existing structures' imperfections.
